1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of FirstPass (the "Service"), including our browser extension and website. By installing the extension, subscribing to a paid plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

FirstPass is a browser extension that helps users verify email addresses in bulk using local pre-filtering and third-party email verification APIs that you configure with your own API keys.

Paid subscriptions unlock software features within the extension. Verification credits are purchased separately from third-party providers unless we explicitly state otherwise.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

Paid plans (Pro, Team, etc.) are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. Prices are shown on our pricing page before checkout.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle's terms and privacy policy apply to checkout and payment data handling.

You may cancel your subscription according to the process provided at checkout or in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation stops future charges; access may continue until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable anti-spam, privacy, and data-protection laws.

You must not use the Service to send unsolicited email, harass others, or process lists without a lawful basis.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of email lists you upload or verify.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party verification APIs and Google Sheets. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or results provided by third-party APIs.

6. Intellectual property

The extension, website, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your internal business purposes while your subscription is active (or under the Free plan terms).

You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that every email verification result will be accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

Email verification outcomes depend on third-party APIs and changing mailbox/provider behavior.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this website with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
